Aruna is an Ahpra registered, experienced Australian pharmacist who established 'My Friendly Pharmacist' to fulfill her passion to help the community.

Welcome to my website! I am a community pharmacist with experience from pharmacies across Melbourne. I come from a small town in Fiji, where I taught year 12 chemistry & biology after attaining a degree in bachelor of science at the University of South Pacific. This lead me to a career as a chemist in the Department of mineral resources in Fiji government. After a few years I pursued a career in pharmacy via Monash University in Australia.

Why start a blog? I initially thought of writing a book about the trials and tribulations of being a pharmacist but this would be about me which would not  fulfil my passion for genuinely caring and helping people regarding their health. Through my blog, I aspire to address prevention, treatment and advise regarding certain health conditions and issues. 
Every day I feel fortunate enough to receive the love and respect from my customers, so my ultimate goal is to give back to the community.
